Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using EXITON FMEA Apps ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

EXITON grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for evaluation and professional purposes. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the Software.

3. Output Disclaimer

The Software generates draft DFMEA documents using automated rule-based analysis and a curated failure mode database. These outputs are intended as starting points for engineering review and do not constitute completed, submission-ready documents. Users are solely responsible for reviewing, validating, and approving all output before use in any formal context.

4. Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. EXITON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE OR ITS OUTPUTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

5. Data Processing

The Software processes all data locally on your machine. No schematic data, BOM data, or analysis results are transmitted to external servers. Future versions may offer optional cloud LLM features; if enabled, data handling will follow the respective provider's privacy policy.

6. Updates and Changes

EXITON reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
